The excitement around innovation in government technology is palpable, and the 2024 SLEDIE Awards perfectly captured that spirit. Cardinality is proud to announce that we were recognized as a Rising Star, among the industry's most promising govtech players.
This distinction is of significance: Out of 900 SLED (State, Local & Education) IT providers in the US, Cardinality was acknowledged as one of 3 rising stars, along with 5 other Industry Leaders and a few other marketing campaigns. This adds to our fifth consecutive year on the Govtech 100 list by Government Technology and AWS State & Local Government Partner of the Year in 2022.
Cardinality isn't just another Government IT company. We care!

“We are thrilled to announce the winners of the first annual SLEDIE Awards,” said Cathilea Robinett CEO of e.Republic. “These organizations are at the forefront of marketing and communication in the SLED sector and their efforts are setting the standard for excellence in the industry.”
Along with the executive leadership team present at the event, Thiag Loganathan, CEO of Cardinality, accepted the award on behalf of the organization.
“We are an innovative challenger to the status quo in SLED IT Implementations, with proof points. This recognition will allow for more GovTech disruptors to be aware of our pre-built solutions and purpose-built platform, to leverage modern technologies and AI to accelerate outcomes fast. Appreciate Dustin Haisler, Cathiliea Robinett, and e.Republic for this recognition. Their role in creating awareness of innovation in GovTech is much needed.”, expressed Thiag.
In attendance was Kevin Jones, Cardinality's COO, a GovTech 25 honoree, and NASCIO tech champion. An ex-CIO of the Indiana Department of Child Services, Kevin uses his public sector experience to help more government agencies succeed. For Kevin, the mission is personal.
"As a member of the vulnerable population growing up, and a leader who's gone through the challenges of these complex implementations, this is personal for me and most others in our team. We care! I appreciate the recognition, we're just getting started. We are going to change how technology is implemented in government."
Thiag and Kevin were also joined by Damon Haycock, Director of Business Development, and Joe Dapore, VP - Strategic Partnership & Programs, during this event.
According to eRepublic’s 2024 Beyond the Beltway Market and Tech Report, there are headwinds like a tightening labor market and expiring federal funds, tailwinds such as robust budgets, infrastructure spending, and innovative technologies like AI offer significant potential for growth.
The key “Big Picture” areas identified in the report and how we fit in well are as follows:
2024 promises a dynamic tech landscape beyond just AI. New regulations will emerge, requiring adaptability. Consumer behavior shifts will redefine expectations for businesses and governments. Collaboration between industry and the public sector can shape future IT strategies. Remember, a strong technological foundation is crucial to support the evolving needs of tomorrow.
The future of government technology isn't just bright, it's wide open for disruption. We are looking for disruptors who want to change the status quo and get IT implementations done. Cardinality is committed to empowering agencies, improving citizen services, and enabling a future that works for everyone.
